Elusive. As a white hart running away and making out of the wood a cosmos.
That’s how it slid in less than an instant. That’s how it left as if it was not there.
Strung were we to the tail of unequivocal certitude.
Arrived with the solstice, in a night during the day and a day during the night,
in a space of vacuum, in a vacuum filling the spaces,
without magic, nor charm or ghosts. Showed up quietly.
If drawn it fades away, if sang falls silent. Discreet.
Neither did explain itself nor present credentials. Just came.
Seemed to say something though only each and their mystery know about it.
We know that’s too far from knowing it, from digesting it, from being it,
for seeing the unicorn is not entering his mystery and less understanding it,
for swimming with the mermaid is not enough to know where she comes from.
And those will be the tides for the quarter* rocking us the hidden worlds,
taking us back to the kingdoms and giving us back the mystery,
in its own world, there where it resides and unfolds palpable realities.
A kingdom is not a world and many worlds cross a kingdom.
Kingdoms, yes. Neither in disuse nor obsolete. More valid than ever.
They received the forces of a thousand worlds. Restoring them from other worlds.
It was while we were busy with the screen of the human comedy.
Well enthroned they come back for what is theirs, for their people, and for what was hidden was theirs.
The mystery brings its kingdom distilling scents of the lost and most looked for.
Neither is mystery a fable nor kingdoms are fairy tales,
taught to reject and banish both, we forget one,
greater than any other, without a kingdom and unknown: us.
When the equinox arrives, the kingdoms of mystery will inhabit us.
Before that they will renew their fluids with those of the Earth rewriting origins,
they will separate once again their people and retake power from their rented subjects.
No one will go after the kingdoms, they are arriving along with mysteries,
following the traces of their flows, following the trails of our smell and sensibilities,
without leaving a trail of their absence nor any memory of their non existence.
May we visit the kingdom of our mystery!
